Yes we are still together! It’s tough… we wen’t through a really rough patch and actually broke up for a few days in early June. But we managed to patch things up and our relationship is honestly the best is has EVER been, and I’m more in love with him than I have ever been before. We make sure to have great communication. That’s really how our relationship survives. We text a lot throughout the day between classes, we try to talk on the phone at least once a week and try to Skype whenever his roommates are gone :)
Obviously I would rather get to see him every day, I don’t think anybody particularly enjoys being in a long distance relationship haha. But he’s my best friend and I love him more than anything. I would wait as long as I had to for him, he’s more than worth it.
School and life have become so overbearing that fitness just sort of got lost in there somewhere :/
I got my workout clothes on, and I’m going to start slow, maybe save my run for this afternoon when I need a break from school work.
Sorry for the spam of bodies that are motivational to me, but I need something to get me going today.
- Zombie 5k 1.1: 10 mins power walk, 10 intervals of 1 min walk/15 sec run, 10 min power walk (roughly 36 minutes total)
- 15 squats
- 10 minutes of hula hooping
- Core workout: Kneeling ab walkouts (4 sets X 10 reps), and Crossed leg twisting crunches (2 sets X 30 reps)
Really proud of my workout today! I went hard and I was super sweaty and exhausted. My eating has been less than stellar… I’m going to really focus on that tomorrow.
Now it’s time to shut off my computer and really get some homework done :)
